I'm baaacck

After six months of waiting, I finally had my surgery last week (hurrah) and can't wait to be back causing mischief and mayhem wherever I go.

While I am convalescing, I thought I would jump in and take the March Photo of the Day Challenge ... *squeak* and today is Day One ..... Gulp. Here I go....

Poorly

Been poorly now for ten days :( with sickness and diahorrea bug. I was off work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but have been back ever since. I had hope to shake the last of the bug this weekend but I still feel absolutely dreadful. Blargh!

Other news, I had my first viewing (of my house) on Saturday which was exciting. A woman around my age who has a small son.

Oink!

I'm home from work with ...... swine flu! Groan! I've had a "bad summer cold" since Friday but my boss sent me home this morning and the Doctor told me it's not a cold but swine flu and I've got to stay home for the rest of the week (and avoid people and large gatherings).

The one blessing of this is that it helps with my not-being-at-work-guilt that I'm following Doctor's orders and also I don't want to make my colleagues and friends poorly.

So there's a week of bed-rest, watching DVDs and sleeping in my future.

Uh-oh!

I felt it coming in during the day and now I feel full of cold (ahhhhh-choo!) Going to have a hot bath when I get home (with some Olbas bath vapour) and get into my PJs and hopefully kick it before it gets any worse.

Oh No ... Get Well Soon

Just when we got good news that my cousin (on my Mum's side) was being released from hospital, we got some bad news that my Aunt (on my Dad's side) was admitted to hospital back home (Oz) having had a heart attack!!!

I got to speak to her on Sunday and it was really good to chat and get a feel for how she was doing.

All these health scares have to stop!

Summer Cold

I woke up with a summer cold today... (sniff ... cough). Ugh! Thank goodness for cold medication and heaters!
