Books I've Read So Far in 2008

Can you believe it's almost July? Six months almost gone from 2008. WOW! I thought I'd have a look at what I've read so far this year. The majority has been easy-reading and books recommended by friends ~ books, might I add, that I would not have read and I would have missed out on some fun stories!

Sarah Addison Allen ~ Garden Spells (I LOVED this book and have already pre-ordered The Sugar Queen also by her)

Patricia Cornwell ~ All That Remains (scary!)

Kate Collins ~ Slay It With Flowers (enjoyable).

Janet Evanovich ~ Plum Lovin', Plum Lucky (I liked this the best of the three) and Fearless Fourteen

Elizabeth Gilbert ~ Eat, Pray, Love (I loved this book and bought it for a friend who also loved it!! Easy to dip in and out of).

Melissa Glazer ~ A Murderous Glaze (one word... painful. That's a day I'll never get back of my life!)

Khaled Hosseini ~ The Kite Runner (brutal, raw and powerful!)

Karen Marie Moning ~ Kiss of the Highlander (enjoyable smut!)

Linda Lael Miller ~ Deadly Gamble and Deadly Deceptions (loved this series and hope there will be more).

Susan Elizabeth Phillips ~ Breathing Room (again, I loved this book!)

James Patterson ~ 1st To Die (subtley chilling).

Nora Roberts ~ Face the Fire (I loved this whole series and in fact want to live on Three Sisters Island ... shame it doesn't actually exist!)

Elaine Viets ~ Shop Till You Drop (quite enjoyable. I bought the second in the series but haven't read it yet).

Lauren Weisberger ~ Chasing Harry Winston (loved, LOVED this book. Laughed out loud in parts).

And what am I reading now? "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer........
