They say never judge a book by its cover but I read this book because of it's cover (that and combined with the author being from North Carolina where I recently visited).

It's the story of sisters, of coming home, facing demons, accepting yourself, all mixed in with a little magic. The characters, namely: Claire, Sydney, Bay, Evanelle, Tyler and Henry are more than likeable, they are lovable! I enjoyed getting to know each character and their journey through the book.

I cannot wait for The Sugar Queen to be released here in England .....
