Regent Street has come to the Party.
Some genius in their Marketing Department has come up with the phenomenal idea to install an inspiring display of 200 giant union flags from Thursday, 21st April through to Monday, 2nd May 2011. These gigantic flags run all the way along from Piccadilly Circus in the south to beyond Oxford Circus to the BBC in the north.
Each flag is 4 x 2.5 metres in size and they are hung from 22 crossings to celebrate the Royal Wedding, recreating a majestic architectural view of one of the world’s most famous historical shopping thoroughfares.
In a word ..... Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Altogether now .... There'll alllllllways be an England.... While there's a country lane ..... Wherever there's a cottage small .... Besides a field of grain .....
